Lucy meets the Turtle
One afternoon we were playing in the backyard and Lucy began to bark. She doesn't usually bark unless there are preteen boys walking by (I guess she knows they are up to no good ;-) and in this case there were not any. We were beginning to get annoyed with her when we noticed that she had her nose to the ground as she was barking. When we walked toward her, we saw that she was following this huge turtle as it made it's way across our back yard. Considering there is not any water near us, we reasoned that this turtle was far from home and carefully relocated him to the creek down the street. Both boys were completely fascinated by this event!
