Our Story

My photo
Ben and I met in 1996, began dating in 1999 and married in 2001. Now 20 years and 2 children later, we have returned to where our life together began. Ben works for the Federal Reserve and I have the privilege of staying home with our two precious boys.

Gwinnett Braves

The boys before the game

Look at that cheesy grin!

Sweetness!
Don't let that innocent look fool you :-)

Daddy has already ordered Atlanta Braves attire for the whole family and we are looking forward to lots of trips down to Coolray Field to see the Gwinnett Braves and even more trips to Turner Field to watch Ben's all-time favorite baseball team, the Atlanta Braves.

Easter Sunday

The Easter Bunny came in the night, but the boys didn't even get a chance to notice their baskets until we returned from church...thankfully.
Trying to get a picture with 2 toddlers is next to impossible!
By this time, we had returned from church and the boys were a little wound up!

Ethan checking out his basket

Caden absolutely LOVED the ball...

...and couldn't get enough of it! He chased it all over the house!

After a few minutes of Easter basket fun, everyone headed outside for an egg hunt with Mimi.

Once we got a little of our wiggles out, we had our Easter dinner and a relaxing afternoon.

Atlanta Zoo

Saturday we braved the day before Easter crowds and made our way to the zoo with Mimi. She got us a zoo membership as part of the boys' birthday present. We are so excited and can't wait to spend lots of time there!
What's that I hear? Is that the zoo? Are we going to see the animals?

Ethan and Daddy

Ethan loved watching the panda play! He was adorable!

Caden was a champ the whole time we were there. Love that smile!

The petting zoo was also a favorite of the day!

We had a blast at the zoo! Surprisingly we chose to go on a cooler morning but the day warmed up nicely and we were home in time to take a nap before dying our Easter eggs.

Egg Hunt at the Forrester's

Last weekend we spent the afternoon in Gainesville at our second Easter egg hunt of the season.

He loved hanging out with Tex while the big kids hunted eggs. He even found an egg of his own!

Here's Ethan...on the hunt!
