Our Story

My photo
Ben and I met in 1996, began dating in 1999 and married in 2001. Now 20 years and 2 children later, we have returned to where our life together began. Ben works for the Federal Reserve and I have the privilege of staying home with our two precious boys.

Just Hangin' Around

Ethan's favorite thing to do in his door jumper is swing, but he's almost too big to do it because his feet drag the floor even though it's the highest it will go! He's making his Geee-Geee-Geee sound in this bottom picture. It's so cute! He ends up spluttering with drool rolling down his chin and a big grin on his face.

On the Move!

Ethan is crawling! Being the wonderful parents that we are, the remote control worked beautifully as his prize! Bribery can be a wonderful tool!

The Path to the Prize...with a cute stumble along the way.

Play Time

Ethan has a play area in almost every room of our house. This little mover and shaker knows how to make the most of what was a tidy area.

It just takes 5 minutes...

Before...toys still in the basket

After...empty basket and chomping on a book.

He's not crawling yet, but amazingly can pull himself wherever he wants to go. I can't believe how fast he is growing up and getting so mobile! Look Out World, Ethan is on the move! His sense of adventure has him constantly bumping into things regardless of how close Mommy and Daddy are. Most recently, he's doing his very best to pull himself up as I'm sure you've seen on Facebook. Daddy and I are going to have to work on that one, he always posts the pictures that I want to blog about!

Ethan is also experimenting with his voice. His grins and belly laughs are music to our ears! The latest is the earth shattering screech that he exerts so much energy creating that his face turns red and he thinks is absolutely hilarious. He has definitely mastered the snort and the motorboat, too. Not to mention, babbling about things that Mommy and Daddy can't understand and chewing on his feet.
