We got to spend Thanksgiving weekend in T-Town with Chad and Ashley at the Iron Bowl while Mimi watched the boys. Since Ashley was raised in Tuscaloosa and went to the University of Alabama, this is something that she does every year so we knew that it was going to be a fun day.
Considering both families have always been Alabama fans with the exception of my brother Chad, it's quite humorous watching them walk through campus and tailgate with everyone deep in the heart of T-Town. Ashley and her family and now Chad, by extension, have been around so long that everyone knows them so it was a blast to be able to tailgate with them. Ben and I met a lot of wonderful people and saw some awesome tent set-ups. If you're going to tailgate, you should definitely do it, Alabama-style! We only snapped a couple of pictures, but we had a great time!
After the stomping, we headed back to Mimi's to check on the boys. Amazingly, they made it the whole day in their t-shirts which says a lot for boys who typically go through a couple of changes a day!
