Our Story

My photo
Ben and I met in 1996, began dating in 1999 and married in 2001. Now 20 years and 2 children later, we have returned to where our life together began. Ben works for the Federal Reserve and I have the privilege of staying home with our two precious boys.

June Summer Camps & Playtime

June started off with VBS!
The boys had a great time at Kickoff and we were SO busy that week that it was the only picture I took. The kiddos made some of the sweetest crafts and my group for the week was amazing! Both boys had phenomenal leaders and I had 10 of the most adorable girls ever!
After VBS, we had a week off before our next camp. We built Legos at the library and the boys had fun showing their playdates how to see-saw. Mimi found a winner with this one and the boys have turned it into a two in one. You could see-saw like it was made to do, or....
You can turn it over and make it into a slide! James David and the boys had a blast doing this on his playdate and I enjoyed catching up with Lauren and Mason :-)
Later on, Paw-Paw Forrester and Nana Lyndy came down for a visit. Ethan taught Paw-Paw Forrester how to play X-box
Then we had a fantastic week of Bug Camp, at least that's what Ethan calls it every summer. The Gwinnett Environmental and Heritage Center has terrific camps that he loves every summer AND for the first time, Caden enjoyed his week, too! They took nature walks, waded in swamps, learned about habitats, and made something new every single day! It was an added bonus that Tyson and Connor were in camp that week, too, and we had carpool buddies. Tyson and Connor also were in camp together so they got to hang out each day!
The following week was basketball camp. After some mixed feelings about attending camp, and Mommy being adamant that they follow through, success was...
ACHIEVED! And they had a great time :-)
