A couple of weeks before Christmas we always have Gingerbread night at church. It's a fun family night and afterwards, all the decorated houses get auctioned off for missions. This year, we worked with 4 other families and the boys had a great time!
When the decorating time ends, all of the houses and families move into the sanctuary for auctioning. The boys always want to go home with a gingerbread house and we have always been outbid. This year, however, we were the first house auctioned off and it is always the least expensive house of the night. So, for a steal of a deal at $100, we were able to bring this home...at least it's for a good cause!
The following Sunday, Ethan got to sing on stage with the children. Caden, however, was quite pleased to sit with us.
I loved seeing him on stage, singing and participating!
However, when I snuck out to get a picture of him as he was leaving to go back to the children's building, he decided he was too big for Mommy and gave me this annoyed look ;-)
