July 4th

We spent this Independence Day with Ben's family at Aunt Wanda's house. It's a family tradition to run the 4th of July Peachtree Road Race, then come back to Wanda's house for lunch. While Ben and I had planned to run the 10K this year with the rest of the family, we could not talk ourselves into running in 100 degree temps. Gratefully, passing on the Road Race this year allowed Caden to get his morning nap before heading over to Wanda's. While we had a blast spending time with family and Ethan playing in the water, I have only 2 pictures to document the occasion. Unfortuantely, we didn't get any pictures with Aunt Melissa, Aunt Lynn, Uncle Mike, and Uncle Gary :-(

We made it home just in time to take a quick bath and pack a cooler & snacks to go see fireworks with some of our neighbor friends. ALL of the pictures that I took were horrible, but this shows a little of their excitement before the show began.

Ethan, however, was terrified and ended up watching Pocahontas in the car while everyone else enjoyed the show :-)
